Finally, the wondrous has occurred. I have found and moved into an apartment all my own! It is further outside of town on Airport Rd., and thanks to my wonderful parents it will soon be a fully furnished place to lay my head! I moved all my stuff into the apartment all by myself in one day, because I was not kidding the fuck around, and today my parents and I went all special ops and snuck into my apartment and got my other stuff out without even having to see my dreaded bitchkrieg roommates! Then we came back to my new apartment, I made them dinner (complete with tea afterwards) and then they were required to return home so that Mom could get a good night's sleep before having to give her sermon tomorrow.
I have been having some stress over the accompanist program and people not getting their music to me on time and constant questions about my reasoning for everything I've decided to do. It's a new program, however, so I can't expect people to be totally on top of what's going on or to take anything for granted at this point. Knowing that I'll be questioned about everything also causes me to make sure that I have reasoning for everything I'm doing. With a little determination and prayer, this might work out with flying colors!
Tomorrow, LaToya will come over for breakfast, so I'm making sure to put all my things away and make the apartment look as much like a real place as possible before she gets here. I am very excited about living in a real place with things that are mine and a space that will stay clean if I clean it. Mmm...things overall? Awesome.
