So usually I like my stepdad a lot. He's mostly like a dad in mostly good ways. So last night we're watching NCIS - that 3 episodes in a row crap they've been doing lately. I'd seen the first one, so I said "You've seen this one right?" and he said "No," but then realized he'd seen just the end of it so once we got to a certain point he knew what the ending was. Then I'd seen the next one, so I said "You've seen this one right?" and he said "No," and he really hadn't seen it. Then we're watching the third one, which I haven't seen. My stepdad turns to me and says "So this is the one where they test the DNA on the woman's cigarette to convict her right?"
ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME? I explained to him in shock that I hadn't seen the episode, which made him laugh so hard he almost exploded a lot. Then he was too pleased with himself to stop laughing about it. NOT TO MENTION that in watching the episode, that comment literally gave away the last 5 minutes because it was a big friggin' plot twist you guys.
The point is that when you think someone might have seen something before you ASK THEM BEFORE YOU RUIN THE WHOLE DAMN THING!
That's the point.
