Stocking the Bomb Shelter

A woman came in today and bought York peppermint patties - we get almost-expired ones donated to us from retail stores, and we sell them for the low low price of $2/bag. She came up to the counter with 3 bags. I said "Are you all set?" She said, "Yeah, you can never find these anymore!!!" and held them close to her, as if they were made of solid gold.

I chose not to tell her about all the other fine retailers that carry NOT almost-expired peppermint patties. She was too excited about the ones she had.
