It's a sad state you're in when corporate America is comforting...

Job asking people for teh monies to save the environment? Check.
Intentional dislike for corporate America and commitment to smaller, local businesses? Check.

Right. So, the PetCo down the street from us is really sketchy and doesn't have CareFresh pet litter as near as I could tell (frankly I may have missed it because the state of their store didn't make me want to be in it very long) so I decided to find the nearest PetSmart, as I already have a Pet Perks card and the guineas were much in need of the changing. The nearest one was five miles away, but don't be fooled, those of you from the CNY...it took me FOREVER to get there because, well...this is B-town where everything takes an everything time to be driving it. So, drove and drove and drove for like 30 mins, and got to the place where the PetSmart was, and in the shopping center was also an Old Navy, and an AppleBees, and a Home Depot, and all of the kinds of things one would see in a shopping center area at home! Felt so...comforted, somehow. Then went inside to spend monies!

If that isn't the story of a bourgeois young woman, I don't know what is.

BACKABAT!!!
