...well that's me today! WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
So. Work is going well, but must be able to get more people to give credit card numbers. Hope that this will come with time. Or thyme. Mmmmm....thyme.
Yesterday, rode bike down to downtown to see if't was possible to do as a regular way of transporting self to work. Turns out my legs love to ride my bike! Woohoo! Now all I need is a new seat cushion, because seriously, the one I have now is painful. Ouch.
Also went to see the indie film "Once" with Nora. It was really good, and had some great music in it, but don't like movies that force me to deal with my feelings in movie theaters. I highly recommend it though - well made, heartwarming, good music, good film all-around...some kind of Sundance festival prize winner...anyway, it put both Nora and me in moods, and was not sure how life would go at the Pride party which we attended afterwards.
We arrived at the land of ALL THE POSSIBLE HOMOSEXUAL!!!! Seriously, I haven't seen more gay people in one apartment since the "Do you ever just feel...waterlogged?" party, and LOVED IT. Found the people to be intelligent, funny, creative, and outgoing, and look forward to the possibility of going again as felt quite at home. Even got into a conversation about how the word "heteronormative" is underused. Seriously though, a great time. Worked today. More work tomorrow. Am out of apples and yogurt. It'll be fine.
Miss the home folks, but am becoming used to having the Bostonians around now as well. Whereas before felt like country mouse in the city, now feel like country/city mouse in the city. LOOK IT MADE SENSE TO ME. STOP JUDGING. I just wish they could come and visit, although I guess I still wouldn't have THAT much to show them. Hmm. Will find more of the things.
FANCYPANTS!!!!!!!
