Winter = Tapeworms


So seriously, I always used to think I was a friggin lunatic because whenever it got to be winter I would eat everything in sight. Like, I was literally always eating. Now I think I've got it pinned to a couple of things: first, that I'm always dehydrated in winter because of all the artificial heat so I want salt like whoa. Second, that cold makes you hungry! No really it's true! That's why restaurants are always cold because they want to induce hunger responses to make you eat more than you want to or should! It's like why people keep peanuts in bars!

Seriously though why is everyone trying to make everyone else fat? I digress.

The point is I am friggin' hungry ALL THE TIME, you guys. I feel like I have a tapeworm...it doesn't matter how many things I eat I'm still hungry! Not to mention the fact that I've been used to having big normal-sized breakfast but since I switched to oatmeal it keeps boiling over in the microwave and then I only get half a breakfast because I'm always late and can't make more. No really, it ALWAYS boils over. Who did that to us with microwave oatmeal? A measured SINGLE serving of oatmeal boiled over OUT OF A MIXING BOWL in the microwave this morning. What am I supposed to cook it in, a God-damn crater?

YOU cook the stupid oatmeal, Mr. Quaker Man, and then tell me it doesn't have to boil over! I'm just saying.

eat it raw yo. no really...here is the best breakfast. throw in a handful of oats, chop up a banana, chop of an apple, or other yummy fruit. throw in some sunflower seeds, walnuts and such, some coconut if you like that, some ground flaxseed, maybe some raisins too and top it off with almond/hemp/rice/soy milk. so friggin good and filling! also...if you go to a health store they'll probably have hemp seeds (refridgerated) and they are so delicious....throw them on a salad or blend them with water and make you're own hemp milk...it's creamy! super protein filled and low calorie ratio!
