This is an actual phone call I was on today:

Me: This is Heather, how can I help you?

Man: I'd like to make a reservation for L_______ P________

Me: Okay, well you actually won't need a reservation for that location, you can purchase your tickets right there at the station about 15 minutes prior to departure.

Man: On the internet?

Me: Excuse me?

Man: You can make reservations on the internet?

Me: Yes, you can, but like I said, you don't actually need reservations for that location - you can just purchase your tickets when you get to the station.

Man: Do they fill up though?

Me: No, they're not usually full - it takes a lot of people to sell out the train so you can just get your tickets right there at the station.

Man: But are they going to sell out? Do we need a reservation?

Me: No, see, that's what I've been saying - you don't need a reservation, you can buy your tickets right when you get to the station, about 15 minutes prior to departure.

Man: Oh, so we can get our tickets right there?

Me: Yes, yes you can.

Man: Oh, okay. Well, thanks for your time!
