The Office Worker's Revenge

We send out brochures to people who request information about the towns where we have stations. The requests come to me in the form of emails from a third-party website. Most of the time, people think that they will be receiving an email rather than an actual physical brochure in the mail, so they do things like only writing their first name, instead of their first and last name. This truly irks me. It's like when people put in all their information in all upper case or all lower case. What, you don't have enough respect for life in general to turn off the damn caps lock or capitalize your own name?

Anyway, my revenge for this is that whenever anyone puts in just one name in the name box, I put that name in as the last name with Mr/s. in the first name box. So, this person will get a letter in the mail addressed to Mr/s. Sandy or Mr/s. Frank. If you don't care enough to tell me what your last name is, I don't care enough to acknowledge that your first name isn't your last name. Take THAT, stupid internet generation.
