So I'm at the train this morning, and this couple walks in (at the time the train is supposed to be leaving)...
Me: Hi, were you looking to ride the train today?
Old Woman: Hi, yes, well, we think so.
Me: Okay, well how many tickets did you need? Two seniors?
Old Man: Well is there any way we could try out the seats before we go?
Me: Uh...
Old Man: I have a bad back, see, and I don't know if the chairs would be bad on my back. Are they comfortable?
Me: I think they're comfortable, they're Amtrak seats from the 50s.
Old Man (to Old Woman): What do you think?
Old Woman: It's up to you, it's not my back.
Old Man: But how are they? Are they comfortable?
Me: Like I said, I think they're pretty comfortable.
Old Man (to Old Woman): What do you think?
Old Woman: It's up to you, it's not my back.
Old Man: What kind of seats are they though?
Me: Well like I said, they're Amtrak seats from the 50s and 60s. They're pretty much like train or bus seats are today...I need to know if you're going on the train though, because they're supposed to leave at 9:15.
Old Woman: Oh. That's now.
Me: Uh huh.
Old Man: Is there any way for us to try them out before it leaves?
Me: Probably not.
Old Man: Well the last time I was on a train was probably in the 50s. Are they comfortable?
Me: I think so.
Old Man: *looks at Old Woman*
Old Woman: IT'S NOT MY BACK.
Old Man: Okay, well, I'm not confident going if I don't know how the seats are going to be.
Old Woman: Maybe we'll come back.
Me: Okay, sure. Maybe next time you would want to get here a little bit earlier if you want to try the seats...
Old Man (ornery): Well, we're NOT FROM THE AREA, so it's not like we can just POP IN whenever we want...
Me: Okay well have a great day!
